Knife Making - Forging a Small Feather Pattern Damascus Bowie Knife

Very happy with how this knife turned out. I had some trouble with the coffee darkening on the guard so I had to redo it 4-5 times. Better luck next time. trying some other instant coffee brands to see if it does anything. More Damascus stuff to come! Nice work, but $320. I could send that design to a blade Smith Nepal, & including shipping too Ireland have that in a week for $80 total, and they make knives with very few modern tools. Not putting your skills down or your years of doing it. But $320 for, what a 4 ½ inch blade. Come on. That's a steep. $150 at most. You do realise if you braugh your prices down, everything on your website would be sold out. Which is beet everything sold out, at a reasonable price, or a full website with over the top prices. I bet there's a ton of people who would love to buy any of your work & I've looked, and they look fantastic, until the see the price tag. I got two 10.5" Khukris & two 5 5" bushcraft knives, one of each had water buffalo handles & two with wood handles. 5 days $370 all in, too my door.

Have fun breathing in those chemicals from the glue. Could have just drilled a hole in a long piece of wood and then steamed it and bent it under pressure. No need for toxic glue.

That old axe handle had such excellent grain alignment..I'm about to do the same thing only I have no old handle to repurpose..Had to buy one, but it's hickory, 15 rings per inch, has the same perfect grain alignment and will need much shaving down and fitting, then flaxseed oil treatment...

I have never smoked a pipe but would like to make one out of fun so if may ask you - is there a reason why pipe is in two parts or just for ease of carving? My guess is the second but have seen even new pipes that can be bought in store that are made in two parts so not sure if there is some reason behind it
